We had a 70 mph wind storm Monday night. Ben and Josh were stuck in the middle of Cass Lake pelted by rain as 8-10 ft waves spilled into their boat. Ben’s phone was soaked–they had no way to contact us. We just watched the storm and prayed for safety.

The worst of it lasted about 20-30 minutes. I watched two trees crack and fall on the shoreline.

2 hours later. We see their boat make its way back to harbor. “That was easily the most scared I’ve ever been in my life.” -Ben

One of the many trees down in the area.
